Tomorrow, Lauren goes back to the hospital for a check-up. At the last appointment, we were told that Lauren has developed a murmur in her heart that is from the patch on her aorta not growing as her aorta grows. For her appointment tomorrow, Lauren will be sedated and they will be doing a detailed Echo and CT Scan to look at the exact structure of her heart and the rates of flows through the parts of it.
I have felt this appointment weighing heavily on my mind for the past week and a half or so. I'm doing my best not to think of all the possible "what ifs" but it is hard and something I really have to try to stay on top of. I'm hoping that there has been a miraculous change and her aorta isn't being pinched off anymore. Please pray with us that the news that we receive tomorrow is good.
