Until now I have been dealing with 45 minute stretches of sleep and a two hour intermission in the painful hours of the night where Lauren thinks it is playtime. For the first time in weeks, perhaps months, I feel like I can function as a human being. Lauren seems so much happier as well!
Last Wednesday, Lauren's doctor decided to decrease her diuretics and I think that has helped. With her full diuretics I would have to change her diaper twice during the night and she would still wet through her diaper, diaper cover, pajama, sleep sack, sheet and mattress cover. That was a lot of wet. Now when she wakes up she isn't as wet and she isn't nearly as cranky.
This morning she woke up, after sleeping on and off for twelve hours in a row, and sat happily playing with her mobile. I have missed this little girl!
Ooooh, that little face. Love those chubby little cheeks. Happy you guys are getting more rest! See you guys on Thursday! wooo!!
